August Favourites!

 1. Clean and clear moisturiser
I absolutely LOVE this moisturiser, hence why it's made it onto my monthly fav's. My skin type is oily to combination and I find it very difficult to find moisturisers that don't leave my skin feeling even more oily. When I was having some problems with breakouts I came across this little gem in Boots, long story short because it's oil free it's perfect for my skin and help tonnes with prevention of spots! - £2.99 (Boots)
 2. D&G perfume, L'Imperatrice  (The Empress)
So I'd been eyeing up this perfume for ages, and every time i'd visit Debenhams/Boots I'd always spray it on me and I found the scent to be very longlasting! So when I went to Turkey I decided to purchase it in duty-free. The scent is described as 'L'Imperatrice opens with succulent exotic fruits and bright florals that give way to a musky, appetite-arousing base' ... and I absolutely love it, throughout the day the smell matures into more delicious-ness (I'm rubbish at describing smells aha!) You should definitely smell it when you're next at the perfume counter! - £40 (Boots)
 3. Max Factor Eye Brightening mascara
So I saw this mascara advertised on tv, and normal I find mascara adverts very misleading, but when it mentioned 'eye brightening ' I decided when I was next in Boots I would check it out. Basically it's just a dark navy colour, described as Black Sapphire and when I got it home I was slightly disappointed. However, when using it, it 100% made my eyes pop ..so to speak aha! I use it sometimes just on top of my other mascaras and it honestly does make all the difference - £4.99 (Save £3 offer, Boots)
 4. Gradient face watch
As you can see this little beauty is looking very tarnished now...but that still hasn't stopped me wearing it all month. I purchased it in the River Island sale and I have absolutely fell in love ; it's a slight take on the Marc Jacobs gradient face watches that I am lusting after and it looks so pretty when it's on! I'm not sure if it's still available any more since it was a sale purchase but I just had to share it with you! - £10 (River Island)
 5. Rimmel London nude lipstick
I've been on the hunt for a nude lipstick for a while, but because I'm quite fair skinned I find it hard to find a shade that works well with my face...when I saw the Rimmel 3 for 2 offer I decided to hunt one down! This one is absolutely lovely, the colour is slightly orange based which suits my complexion and it's extremely moisturising and long-lasting! - £4.99 (Boots)
5. Ryan O'Shaughnessy - EP
I just had to include Ryan in my monthly favourites! Those of you who don't know him, he reached the final of Britain's got Talent and then got signed ... hence is beautiful new mini-album. I've been a massive fan since BGT and pre-ordered the album straight away on iTunes. I also bought tickets to his October gig earlier today which I'm extremely excited for!! His songs are truly beautiful and you should all go check him out!

Hope you enjoyed my quick August fav's huns!
Love ya, Amy Xx
