One of my essential go to prints this season has been tartan! So when I saw Chanel's Pre-Fall collection I absolutely fell in love. Chunky knitwear and scarves are not common on the catwalk but they fit right in with the show Lagerfeld put on in Edinburgh this December.

Such a perfect location to take the tartan check back to its roots.

Although at times some of the looks could be considered 'costume-y' I'd love to look that fabulous in an oversized jumper and thick tights.

I think the look of hopeless romance teamed with androgyny is all I needed to inspire me to spice up my winter wardrobe.
